Do you wonder about death and dying ?

Are you grieving a loss in your life ?

Is the end of life near?

Are you mourning a loved one?

‘Death is extraordinary, like life, when we know how to live.’ Krishnamurti

Welcome to Thanatos Eros! This is an online community space where all who are curious about death and the end of life journey are welcome.
Here you will find practical information, links to resources and inspiration for your project. You may be supporting a loved one or you may be on the road yourself. Whatever the reason, this is a place where ancestral wisdom informs practical solutions for end of life care, ceremony and funerary services.
As a community resource we are committed to connection through sharing what belongs to each and every one of us. This is the unfolding wisdom that guides the dying, their loved ones, and the community, in which dying takes place – each and every day. In order to honour our ancient wisdom traditions we offer a values statement which inspires the guardianship of this knowledge, and which binds us together to honour this digital space where our community connects with us.

Curious about Life and Death?

Nobody knows when their life’s journey will end, so if you are curious about death or dying, there is no right time or place to start. At Thanatos Eros you will hear from some of the leading thinkers on this subject, who may have found answers to your questions and are exploring what it means to be alive to death. You will be informed through interviews, stories, mythology and art, and if you are happy to share, you might even add to the resources that are available so that our wisdom traditions and practices remain vital/ dynamic, relevant and informed for the benefit of all those that wish to deepen their understanding of death and the living practices that pave the way.
